Galleria Gentili

Galleria Gentili started in Florence, Italy in 1991 under the direction of Paolo Gentili and Giulietta Innocenti. The gallery gained its national and international reputation by first showing the works of Pier Paolo Calzolari, Enrico Castellani, Ignacio Uriarte, Heimo Zobernig, Carlo Guaita, Massimo Bartolini, Jaime Plensa and Sol LeWitt. In 2007, Galleria Gentili moved to a former textile factory in Prato, Italy just outside Florence that was soon transformed into an international exhibition space featuring both solo and group shows of contemporary artists.  Since 2016 Galleria Gentili moved to Florence, it’s new space is hosted in a historical building – Ximènes-Panciatichi house.  Recent exhibitions have included the work of Heinz Mack, Bernard Frieze, Luciano Bartolini, Ulrich Erben, Olaf Metzel and Thomas Demand among others.
