The gallery was founded by Marco Canepa, who has been joined by members of the Neri family as partners. With two exhibition spaces, in Genoa and Milan, the gallery’s programme follows two parallel strands. On the one hand, it promotes prominent figures of the art scene between Fifties and Seventies and the rediscovery of precursors such as Claudio Costa. On the other hand, it supports young Italian or international artists – among the most recent exhibitions is the first solo show in Europe by Danica Lundy, a Canadian painter from New York by adoption. Besides these two kind of projects, the gallery exhibits also mid-career artists, significant representatives of the contemporary art scene, such as Alberto Garutti.
