Fondazione Marconi

In 2004, Giorgio Marconi establishes Fondazione Marconi with the goal of working with artists and their archives, promoting them both nationally and internationally. In 2018, he receives the Lifetime Achievement Award from ANGAMC (Associazione Nazionale Gallerie d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea).
Today, Fondazione Marconi houses a vast archive documenting decades of research in modern and contemporary art. Marconi’s name remains forever intertwined with Studio Marconi and Fondazione Marconi, which he led with unwavering passion and determination. More than just a gallery owner, he was a dedicated promoter and advocate for the artists he represented throughout his life. His legacy lives on through their works and his lasting influence on the Italian art scene.

Its collection comprises works by artists from the twentieth-century like Valerio Adami, Enrico Baj, Gianni Colombo, Sonia Delaunay, Lucio Del Pezzo, Bruno Di Bello, Lucio Fontana, Richard Hamilton, Hsiao Chin, Man Ray, Louise Nevelson, Giulio Paolini, Gianfranco Pardi, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Mimmo Rotella, Mario Schifano, Aldo Spoldi, Emilio Tadini and Giuseppe Uncini.
