Housed in what was once Vittorio Cini’s Venetian residence, the Palazzo Cini Gallery is an elegant house museum opened in 1984. It showcases masterpieces by Giotto, Botticelli, Filippo Lippi, Pontormo, and other Renaissance masters, drawn from the collection of the industrialist and philanthropist Vittorio Cini (1885–1977).
Spread across two floors, the Gallery recreates the atmosphere of Cini’s home while hosting exhibitions and cultural events. The collection includes 13th- to 16th-century Tuscan and Ferrarese paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts, notably Renaissance enamelled copper pieces, Gothic ivories, and Cozzi porcelain.
