Kunsthalle Palazzo
Established in Liestal in 1979, Kunsthalle Palazzo focuses on contemporary art with an emphasis on regional and national artists.
Formerly the city postoffice, built by Hans Wilhelm Auer who was also responsible for building the Bundeshaus which houses the Swiss government in Bern, the Kunsthalle Palazzo is located since 1979 in the center of Liestal at the train station and offers many cultural activities such as a cinema, theater, bookstore, restaurant and coffee shop. The Kunsthalle Palazzo focuses on contemporary art with an emphasis on regional and national artists.
