Itaú Cultural

The mission of this cultural centre is to develop  processes of transformation within the Brazilian art and cultural world.

Itaú Cultural is an institute which has been operating as a cultural benchmark in Brazil for more than 25 years. Its aim is to spread the knowledge about the arts in Brazil and to originate practices to extend access to culture between the population.

Its activities include research, production of contents and mapping, based on the belief that culture can be a powerful element of a country’s identity and a medium to an active citizenship. Therefore, Itaú Cultural try to promote artistic manifestations that enhance social participation.
