The Future Generation Art Prize established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009 is a worldwide contemporary art prize for artists under 35 created to discover, recognise and give long-term support to the future generation of artists.

The winner of the 4th edition, announced by the international jury at the award ceremony in the PinchukArtCentre, Kyiv, Ukraine on 16 March 2017, is the South African artist  Dineo Seshee Bopape while Phoebe Boswell (Kenya / United Kingdom) receives Special Prize.

The winning installation by Dineo Seshee Bopape consists in an earth sculpture made of rich black local soil acting as a platform for organic and geological objects that represent actions and symbols.

Works by the Special Prize winner Phoebe Boswell is  a corridor of drawings with female figures in epic scale. They have stories too tell, activated by our presence and visitors too are invited to get involved contributing with thoughts and statements.
