Family Guy

The Family Guy is curated by Kenny Schachter, who also exhibits his works, and features pieces by the members of his family, namely his wife Ilona Rich and children Adrian, Kai, Gabriel and Sage Schachter. Their works dialogue with the ones by famous artists such as Vito Acconci, Sarah Lucas, Rachel Harrison, Rudolf Stingel, Paul Thek, Franz West and Christopher Wool, who have participated somehow in the family’s life, at the same time inspiring them toward new means of artistic expression.

The exhibition is the fourth curated by Schachter dealing with the topic of family, the other three being “Friends and Family”, London, UK, 2012, and two iterations of “Nuclear Family”, Los Angeles, CA and Shanghai, China, both 2017.
