Estado(s) de Emergência (State(s) of Emergency) presents works made by sixteen contemporary artists who update the narratives produced by the years of the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship. This period is revisited reflexively through videos, installations, video-installations and performances.

The exhibition is hosted by Paço das Artes at its temporary location in Oficina Cultural Oswald de Andrade.
