Chiara Camoni

Chiara Camoni (Piacenza, 1974) is a leading figure in the Italian contemporary art scene. In recent years, she has developed a mature artistic language and established herself as one of the most respected artists in Italy.

Her practice is characterised by a renewed approach to sculpture and assemblage, based on the reuse of found objects, discarded materials, and natural elements. Her conceptual use of ceramics challenges the traditional boundaries between fine art and craft, as well as the idea of single authorship, favouring collaborative and participatory processes instead.

Over the past few years, she has gained significant recognition in Italy, exhibiting in major public and non-profit institutions such as Pirelli HangarBicocca, GAM Torino, and the Festival dei Due Mondi, as well as in international venues including CAPC Bordeaux, Manifesta 15 in Barcelona, and the Bangkok Biennale.
