Angensteinerstrasse 37, 4052, Basel, Switzerland
The varied programme of Wilde Gallery aims to celebrate conceptual artistic practices, challenging the conventional perspectives of the world. Representing both established and emerging talents, the gallery was founded in 1990 in Geneva as Galerie Guy Bärtschi. Some years after the departure of its founder, the gallery underwent a radical change of identity and was renamed Wilde Gallery in 2019. In the same year, the second location inaugurated in Basel, designed by the French architect Andrée Putman. A third showroom based in Zurich features presentations of works by twentieth-century masters.
