Sabrina Amrani opened in 2011 in Madrid’s historic Malasaña district. Its international programme focuses on artists and practices that reflect contemporary values and concerns linked to the Global South. For over a decade, the gallery has fostered connections between artists, institutions, art professionals, and the public.
Guided by the belief that art serves as an ambassador and the gallery as a space for dialogue, it opened a second venue in 2019 in the Carabanchel district of Madrid, a 600 sqm platform designed for exhibitions of institutional scale.
In 2024, the gallery marked a new milestone with a temporary space in the historic city of AlUla, Saudi Arabia (February–March 2024).
