The exhibition “senzamargine. Passages in Italian Art at the Turn of the Millennium” marks the tenth anniversary of the museum inaugurated in May 2010, with a nucleus of works by nine masters emblematic of Italian artistic research and diversity. The artists, all born or just working in the country, were chosen for their practices often at the edge of the main creative movements, but still capable of pursuing independent researches and building reference points for the artists to come. The nine masters are still not part of the MAXXI Collection but, from this exhibition on and thanks to a contribution from the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, will become part of it.
