Perrotin Hong Kong
Founded in 2012 in Hong Kong by Emmanuel Perrotin
807, 8/F, K11 Atelier Victoria Dockside, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong
Initially founded in 1991 by Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris, the French Galerie Perrotin opened a second branch in Hong Kong in May 2012, designed by architect Andre Fu. Perrotin famously collaborated with Takashi Murakami, and Maurizio Cattelan at a very early stage, and continues to work with young artists such as portrait photographer and street artist JR and graffiti artist KAWS. Perrotin is also known for merging art and music through his parties – having collaborated with the likes of Massive Attack, Feist, and N.E.R.D.
After closing the initial location, Perrotin in Hong Kong is currently relocating to another venue, due to open next March.
