The Whitechapel Gallery is a public art gallery on the north side of Whitechapel High Street, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Playing a central role in London’s cultural landscape, the Whitechapel Gallery has premiered world-class artists from modern masters such as Pablo PicassoJackson PollockMark Rothko and Frida Kahlo to contemporaries such as Sophie CallePaul NobleThomas StruthSarah Lucas and Mark Wallinger.
