Tonelli

The Tonelli Gallery was established in 1981 by Lodovico Tonelli in the historic center of Milan, driven by an interest in modern and contemporary art. The gallery has always focused on developing direct relationships with both artists and collectors, primarily featuring artists who were already established in the art market. Over the years, it has organized several exhibitions, bringing attention to significant works and sometimes presenting them in new and creative ways. Today, Lodovico is supported in managing the gallery by his two sons, Ciro and Luigi, who share the responsibility for its direction. Together, they opened a new exhibition space near the original location, which hosts both group and solo exhibitions of prominent 20th-century Italian artists, aiming to become a hub for Milan’s cultural community. In 2016, the gallery expanded by opening a space in Porto Cervo, which focuses on contemporary art.
