In 1999, Lia Rumma opened a gallery in the Brera district of Milan with a solo show by Enrico Castellani. For 10 years, it showcased site-specific projects complementing exhibitions in Naples. In 2010, she inaugurated a new 2000 sqm space with a solo exhibition by Ettore Spalletti. The new venue became a key cultural hub, hosting monumental projects by artists like Marina Abramović, Victor Burgin, and Anselm Kiefer. The gallery has fostered collaboration with international museums, curators, and collectors, strengthening its international presence while maintaining its programming in Milan and Naples.
